How To Fix Quest 2 Controller Not Vibrating
Your Quest 2 controller might not be vibrating because of a bug, software issue or worst case scenario, a faulty controller. To find out the cause and how to fix it, follow these steps:
- Make sure that the vibration is turned up in the settings.
- See if the problem is related to a specific app. If so, then there’s nothing wrong with your controllers.
- Restart your Quest 2.
- Replace the batteries in the faulty controller. Also, avoid using low-quality batteries.
- Unpair and reconnect the controller via the Oculus app.
- Contact Oculus customer support.
How To Tune Down The Vibration To The Lowest Setting
- Open the Oculus Quest 2 menu by pressing the button on your controller.

- Select the part of the menu with the time/battery/wi-fi. Then select Settings in the top right.

- Select Hands and Controllers.

- Select Controllers, and then increase the bar under Vibration Intensity all the way up.

How To Unpair And Reconnect The Controller On Oculus Quest 2
- Open the Oculus app on your phone
- Tap on Menu and then Devices

- Select your Quest 2 and scroll down. Tap on Controllers.

- Tap to select the controller that is not vibrating.

- Tap on the Unpair Controller.

- Tap on Pair New Controller in the previous menu.

- Follow the instructions to pair the controller to your Oculus Quest 2 again.
